Latest update from me at RFC is that I'm about to launch a new service for audio enthusiasts due to demand picking up. Recently, I've been commissioned to rebuild several sets of loudspeakers including re-working cabinets, re-damping the internals, rebuilding crossovers (and upgrading them) plus re-wiring. It seems that many people would rather invest in returning their pride and joy speakers from yesteryear to full glory rather then sell and buy something newer.
The RFC website will be updated later in the week but for now, I am offering the following service:
Crossover refurbishment;
Loudspeaker Cabinet rejuvenation (woodwork finishing); internal bracing and damping work;
Loudspeaker driver replacement and re-wiring;
Provision and fitting of new/improved cable terminals;
Construction of kit loudspeakers (such as the WAD designs) on provision of all components.
I specialise in the refurbishment of Tannoy loudspeaker crossovers and cabinets and can supply crossovers for all HPD and Tannoy Monitor Gold loudspeakers.
These works are based upon the speakers/crossovers being delivered to me.
In addition to refurbishing existing crossovers, I also build new crossovers so if you want to run your speakers and just have new crossovers delivered for a straight swap with your existing ones, I can do that for you too.

I already have customers wanting rebuilds of crossovers and complete refurbishments for Tannoys, Impulse Lali's and Roksan Darius Loudspeakers...all marques deserving of restoration and upgrading works!
Prices are very reasonable indeed. I supply all components at cost price (which is discounted) and just charge a fixed hourly rate for labour, with a cap put on the hours estimate agreed in advance so that the final charge can be budgeted for and agreed without any nasty surprises! I have nothing to hide charge-wise.
