Phono to BNC

I need to connect a non Naim cd player (AAA5) to a Naim 72

I have 3 choices-
1. Get an interconnect made up with Phono at one end and BNC on the other
2. Have Phono sockets fitted to the 72 (already avondale'd so modding is no longer an issue)
3. Get some converter plugs

Which is the best option?
(I guess option 3 is not really a realistic option, and cost is not really an issue either)

I just upgraded from a NAIT3 to a NAC102 and faced the same issue in connecting my Planar 3. As it happens a Planar 3 has a captive phono lead. I'm no great shakes (no pun intended) with a soldering iron but even I managed to replace the phono plugs with BNC. Less hassel than taking the turntable to the dealer.

Cheers, J
