New Ricoh Digital GR3 announced

Well, it looks pretty much like the GRD2, though they didn't just use the old case, as the new one is ca. 1 - 2mm bigger in every dimension.

GASP!!! £530 ?

I paid £180 for my GRD 2 in Hong Kong this time last year. £530 makes it more expensive than almost anything else single fixed lens based on the market. It will have to be fan-bleeding-tastic to sell at that price :(

I was waiting for that camera, I think I'll wait (a lot) longer.

Considering the price a Sigma DP2 looks more interesting.

I'm sure it has a great lens, etc. But it still has a crumby little sensor. £530 and the pictures won't really be any different from any other compact. You still can't get a shallow depth of field either - who would buy this?
