Hi
How synergised of NAC102/NAP180 between speaker Quad22L2 and Epos M22i floor standing speaker (budget <£1,000). Kef XQ40 (budget <£2,000)
Which one is the best? What is the other speakers you recommend (budget <£2,000)?

Thank you

I wouldn't choose any of those on your list.

I've has a 42.5/180, 72/Hi/180 and I've tended to prefer older designs, the Celestion Ditton 66 being sublime and the Kef Ref 104.2 very good too, both well within your budget.

The other end of that scale, the 66s going down to 18HTZ, is Linn Kan Mk1s, a little bag of fun.

Modern speakers I like PMC, the highr up the range the better.

Ran a 102/180 combo with my PMC GB1s and thought the results were good. The GB1s have a small footprint, sit close to a rear wall and look good so work in a lot of ways - a little bass light though.

Same her. I use 180 - Nac202 - Hicap with PCM. I don"t know if they're really bass shy, but certainly lack a "warm" sound. It depends on the recording. In less then optimal condition they can sound fatiguing at higher listening levels.
