Naim Credo speaker Blown

Hi, I have just had my credos checked by a Naim dealer and they have quoted me £167 + vat for a 1 replacement bass drive unit. Given they are good speakers has anyone any thoughts on a DIY project to replace both bass units and has anyone done this before any help would be helpful.

It'll be cheaper and easier to get them replaced by your dealer.

Put a WTD in the classifieds for a spare- you may just get lucky..

I'm surprised, this seems a bit on the high side for just a bass unit. Have you checked with Naim service ?

Aren't these similar to the SBL's drivers? I would try looking for these

Older SBL drivers won't work. Get the real deal.
