Multi-function 2017/2018 football thread Pt II

Dele Alli, cheating diving sack of crap. Ditto Harry Kane. Ditto Christian Eriksen. The lino clearly fancied making a name for himself. Spurs had more possession, Liverpool were robbed.

Ha Ha Ha Ha toys out of pram time........

Na Spurs was robbed by Kane's missed penalty.

Kane's miss was unfortunate and robbed Spurs of three points by it. As for 15/16 what's that got to do with anything, other what happened then - has no bearing on todays game...no nothing, childish comment.

Liverpool were robbed. Kane was offside when he got the ball in the penalty area, went around the goalkeeper, did a blatant dive and was given a bloody penalty, which he missed.

A couple of minutes later Spurs were given another iffy penalty, scored and got a draw in the last few seconds of extra time.

The Liverpool supporters chanted "Cheat! Cheat!" at Kane, but he doesn't give a monkey's.

There should be a VAR at every game to help stop such ridiculous offside and penalty decisions. Players should also get a red card and be sent off if they dive in the penalty area. Spurs should have lost Kane and Alli.

This is the story of Harry Kane
The man the authorities came to blame
For something that he never done....

Obviously Dermot Gallagher must be being paid by Spurs. He said that both penalties should have been given.
But what does he know about the laws of the game?

And no Chelsea players ever dive. Ever.

More childish to claim that your own player's inability to convert a pen robbed you. He missed. As Jack says both pens looked a bit iffy. Usual Spurs whining. By the way, if you were robbed it would be of two points not three, you still managed to walk away with one... :). Unless, of course, Spurs "deserve" four points for every win...

Lamela threw himself at Van Dyke and then dove as well. Absurd call by the line judge.

Am not a supporter of any club, but I do think LFC was robbed.

Wonderful goals by Salah and Wanyama.

Both Ali & Kane dived- its a poison in the game that needs to disappear.
Second pen was legit conceded by the £75m man.
Liverpool goals will dry up if Salah gets injured
How did he slip through the Chelsea net ?

A draw was a fair result but the circumstances where somewhat controversial... as ever we end up talking about officials and not about Salah's gem of a second or Wanyama's worldie

Second one was not a penalty, VVD couldn't see the player who came in from his blind side. What's a defender supposed to do? Not go for a ball just in case someone else is competing for it? Ridiculous decision.

Correct, he is Godlike

A hideous 1950's throwback god. "I felt contact and I went down". Well, that's all right then Harry, who could be expected to stay on their feet in such circumstances. Oh, how about someone with a wee bit of sportsmanship in them, maybe? But I guess this is the state of the modern game, embarrassing really innit.

Regardless of contentious decisions, Spurs and Liverpool are both too inconsistent. The fact that the dismal Man U are still above them both is testament to that.

The standard of referees is not very good and they are aided and abetted by some dreadful Sky and BT refs on their payroll. Not helped by the not interfering with play offside laws. Super star look at me Clattenfuck has gone. Bobby ecky thump Madley is another belter.

We pay for De Bruyne and Hazard ,Salah, and loads more to improve the Premier league yet we do not buy refs from other countries to improve the game.

Nine teams currently play south of Watford which is a pretty stupid to attempt to divide this small country, but I am not sure if many refs come from that area.

The sky premier league could also do with looking inwards at its none English speaking presenters. Thierry Henry what the heck is he saying Carragher comes across as a decent bloke but despite playing for England he cannot speak English...............He destroys Vowels...Rant

As you were saying calorgas, Spurs and Liverpool the weakest challengers.

Hornets 4, yes 4 - Chelsea 1 and 1 red card.
