We have for sale a Melco N1A/1 Digital Music Library, this is pre-owned and is black.
Condition is excellent, no obvious marks or scratches. Supplied in original packaging (doubled boxed) with UK and Euro power cable, network cable and USB A to B cable

This machine has 2 x 2tb hard drives and is running firmware 3.92, this gives the machine the starter version of minimserver 2 and songkong lite included.
The N1A/1 has 3 USB ports on the rear and 1 on the front.
Rear ports
1 x back up – for connecting a usb hard drive for a back up of the hard drive contents
1 x expansion – for connecting an expansion drive should you fill the internal drive (or connecting to a USB DAC)
1x usb3 – best for connecting either a cd drive (like a melco d100) or a usb drive for importing existing files
There is also a front usb2 port and this can be used for importing or even to connect to a DAC
On the rear there are 2 ethernet ports, 1 labelled LAN (for connecting to your network) and 1 labelled Player. you use the Player Port if you are intending to use the Melco with a network player/streamer like a Naim or Linn for example.
The 2 x 2 tb hard drives are configured as a spanned array with 4tb of usuable storage, as mentioned above connecting a usb hdd to the back up socket will give you a back up of your music library. This is the best sounding HDD configuration in my experience.
As an authorised Melco Master Dealer I am able to supply this machine with a 12 month return to base parts and labour warranty
This machine can be updated to the full ex specification in terms of software, this involves sending the machine to melco and costs £500.00 and will put it on the same platform as the current generation for SW updates, Internet Radio (when using with a DAC), EX also makes it an Roon Endpoint
