Lucia Popp - recommendations

A friend played a collection of Opera Arias sung by Lucia Popp yesterday. I've a limited knowledge of opera but loved this recording.

I was surprised at how expensive the CD is on Amazon. Does anyone have any other recommendations for collections of opera arias sung by this artist?

Seven discs for under eighteen pounds.

Two of the best Lucia Popp recordings (both non-operatic) are (i) the soprano part in Orff's Carmina Burana (EMI), conductor Frubeck de burgos and (ii) Richard Strauss's Four Last Songs (EMI) conductor Tennstedt. Irreplaceable.

Don't know about collections but for many years I have thoroughly enjoyed Popp in a complete production of Die Zaubefloete.

Indeed, her Four Last Songs are magnificent.
