[FS] Linn Akurate DSM/3 in Black

Hi All

I have the above preamp/streamer/DAC for sale in excellent condition with remote, power lead and original box etc. Linn’s Katalyst DAC and Space Optimisation. A huge array of inputs for all your toys (check the rear panel photos). This is the sweet spot in the Linn range.

This is an original DSM/3 and not an upgrade. It can go straight into a power amp.

It is configurable via the Linn app if you want to tweak it. It sounds wonderful. Only selling due to a change in direction.

Used to own an Akurate DS/3 Katalyst (12 years!).
Once i heard the Organik dac i changed over to a Klimax DS/3 and upgraded it....
GLWS!.
 
I listened to a DSM/3 and it sounded fantastic!
Yours looks to be in great condition
How old is it? I understand the katalyst version came out first in 2018
Sadly I am not in the market for something as high up the food chain as this at present

I do with I had the spare cash because that is a stone cold bargain. I’ve just started a new job though, have a ton of expenses and won’t get paid for 5 weeks.😩
 
Currently it is a UQ2 with the amp disengaged feeding a Nait 2 or 50. Things are moving in the streamer/DAC world. I started with an AURALiC Aries Mini and the new Vega S1 intrigues me as does the WiiM Ultra. The footprint of these models is a factor in my choice but the SQ needs to be good. Very good but not at a silly price. The ADSM is a lot of money that my system, I’ve decided, doesn’t warrant.

I’ll see how things pan out in the next month.
