High-mass stands for Tannoys?

Haven't had a chance to find the wood pellets yet, but tbh things are sounding pretty good as is.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday lining the rear and side panels with adhesive bitumen from Wilmslow, underneath the egg-box foam that's there already. It's had quite a profound effect on the overall clarity and bass is a good deal more impactful. When I get the chance this week I'll line the top and bottom panels too. I get the feeling I'm only just beginning to hear what these drivers can do.

That's good news, I imagine if you get the speaker correct first, the rest will fall into place.

I owned a pair of Epos ES12 speakers last year, they are the least resonant cabinet I have ever encountered, completely dead when tapped with a knuckle, the sound remained the same on any stand I tried them on.
