grey dot appeared on all my pictures

I have a little grey fuzzy do that show up on all my images in the same place, newly taken pics and old. How can this be visible on pics taken previously that did not have the grey dot when they were taken? The grey dot also shows up on downloaded versions of the images.

sorry found a spec on the sensor behind the lens...must have not noticed it when taking previous pics.

Dirt/Dust on the sensor (or possibly on/in the the lens - less likely)

What camera?

Quick test, take a picture of a light coloured wall at your widest aperture and then at a middle aperture and then at your smallest aperture. Do you see this 'dot' start to come into focus??
