EXACTLY why did Tony sell his Tannoys?

Surely that must be the 'Evil Tony', look how he's handling that record.

There is a dead girl on the floor and your looking at somebody putting there dabs on an old record - your inability to empathize is shocking :D

'Evil Tony' invites Girl next door around for tea and biscuits, she rushes into the lounge to admire Tony's huge Tannoys, instantly she spots the Harbeths and faints, falls to the ground and cracks her skull wide open on one of Harbeths, 'Evil Tony' desperately tries to hide the evidence.

He is saying :
"Hang on! There is a hole in the middle of this one! AND THE RECORD!"
I'll get me coat....................

I think the "getting used to the sound"
is a big factor rightly or otherwise.

I've had these 15" hpd reconed TWICE by Tannoy now.
Had them 25yrs and 12" and 10" before that
That looks pretty sad written down

More of a surprise to me is why T.L. bought
NEW speakers. Hi fi Depreciation?
I though you were innoculated against that?

Actually scrap the previous prescription, your 'crisis' is chronic you need stronger medicine - this should do it.

I think some of you lot need to learn the meaning of the word contentment.

My main system is a Naim 52+Supercap / NAP300 / Briks on Mana.

I am content and happy and I just enjoy it and listen to the music.

If you are fretting about changing something or other, then you cannot be fully relaxed and hence you are not gaining full enjoyment of your system.

In other words you are worrying too much about the hardware and not fully enjoying the software.

Tony should buy another set of Tannoys and then call it quits.

Regards

Mick

That's Mick in his cycling gear. It's clear he's found true happiness with his system from that beam on his cherubic face.
