Only to be told that it's "not available in your area"?

I use a VPN and successfully buy from America.... at American prices.......(other places are available....)

Whilst you would have to factor in the price of a reliable VPN (I use NordVPN), they can be incredibly useful if travel a lot as well.

Cheers,

Paul

Not tried that tbh.....

I travel extensively with work (to some places off the beaten track) and got frustrated with iffy free ones so took the plunge and paid.

I'll give at a go come renewal time!

...or you could just sign up to AWS and roll out a Windows machine for free in the correct locality? Doesn't take any real effort, no more so than a VPN solution anyway!

Ok, I’ll bite.... not a scooby what that means...

My mate google suggested Amazon Web Services and that’s as far as I got.....

Pretty sure that is what Son_of_Thor meant. Amazon Web Services allows you to have your own virtual computer hosted by them (in the US).

I used Astrill and the ExpressVPN for a few years when living in Shanghai. Was absolutely essential for me at the time! ExpressVPN was very very good.

I've been using vyprvpn for serval years now. Got hubs all over the globe.
Always amuses me when avast tells me people can see my location .. Apparently I'm in Central London, not on the coast :D
