DIY Townsend type speaker isolation platforms for heavy speakers

I am just wondering if anyone has tried a DIY version of these and if so how successful where they,cheers

I've looked at my Townshend stands, model before the latest and see anyone good at DIY could make them

I have, there is a thread somewhere, I think on the Wam, which I can't access anymore. They work well.

I have added damping sleeves to them since then.
