I have one of these and have a problem with the flash.

After taking a picture, the flash will not recharge and the amber light flashes until the lens retracts and it advises me to change the batteries. However, new batteries lead to the same scenario.

Any ideas?

I only use it now and then, and appreciate it's not much of a serious camera, but the total usage time is not so high, and considering this first occurred over a year or even two ago, it's pretty shoddy.

It does sound battery related doesn't it. Do new batts give the same problem immediately? Are you using rechargables?

The last time I tried, new batts also only gave me one flash.

Perhaps there's some crap stuck in it somewhere? Probably a philistines suggestion.

I wonder if like cd players, violence works?
