Braun Watches

First time I've seen those, and they're certainly very Braun, though I thought Dieter left at least fifteen years ago?

Alex (just set my Braun AB1 alarm for the morning, as seen in Blade Runner)

They won't go down well with the Rolex/traditionalist mob.

Look too much like:

That would account for the dated naff design then ;).

It's sort of cool. But $800 for a digital watch seems rather odd. I think I'd be rather inclined to spend $750 on a nice analog watch and $50 on a waterproof, indestructible 10 year battery casio digital for rough use.

They look like the sort of watch David Coulthard would wear. I've noticed that ex-driver-turned-pundit types on the F1 circuit wear exactly this type of thing.
Certainly different. Probably Xmas gifts from the WAGS.
I quite like them.

Well I've had my spiffing new Braun for a few weeks now and my does it get a lot of comments! The practice nurse giving me my travel jags clocked it, the scarfaced car park attendant admired it yesterday and several watch fanbois at work all oohed and aahed over it. No one ever gave a toss about my Speedmaster ( now in having a service).

...a thing of beauty.

'tis a big one, 43mm, like having a dinner plate on your wrist.

I would think about on if it was smaller.
