Bird pic with my new lens

Learning how to use my recently acquired Tamron SP 150-600 lens with my CANON 750D. My first BIG telephoto zoom. Early stages!

For a bit of fun, can you identify the subject? Taken whilst visiting Devon in May.

Does look like a warbler, I see it as slightly green/yellow breasted - willow warbler maybe?

Very nice images Ron!

I identified my bird as a Grasshopper-Warbler, largely due to its striking song, but also sightings by others there that day. We were visiting Tamar Lakes at the same time it seems!

Also spotted Mrs Stonechat the same day.

I remember first time I heard a Grasshopper Warbler , sounded like a fishing reel . Took a bit of waiting around to get a photo but managed a quick one
