Best VFM component you have bought

Perhaps would have been the Creek 4040 I nearly nabbed on eBay yesterday for £20. Went for £23.

The one that got away or the one the shill bidder is going to take you to the cleaners on. Fact is you never can tell which.

I have not always been clever with hi-fi purchases, selling a 301 for peanuts, but the Yamaha NS1000s have been worthwhile in terms of VFM. Bought for about £400 these are now selling for a lot more.

I have the older ebony cabinets which look a lot better than the black finish 1000Ms which look so .... utilitarian. Don't want to sound snobby but you know what I mean.
