Beach Bar - Pro Audio

thought I might as well ask here. I’m looking a buying a nice 4 speaker set up for a beach bar - purely for fun.

Have ordered a Pioneer DDJ deck and am looking at active or passive JBL’s or Yamaha ( the cheaper option) Anyone with any experience in the field?

Purely for playing back tunes. Mostly some chilled asian music and a bit of vintage jazz.

I don’t know where your beach bar is located but I’d be looking at RCF active cabs if they’re available, either Art 3 or 7 series. The 12” models are the sweet spot in the range but the 10” models are still quite capable. They will withstand regular heavy use and they sound good, I’d chose them in a heartbeat over JBL or Yamaha active cabs.
Another brand to consider is FBT. This is based of on a lot of experience in the field.
