Swapped the inductors for 4700uH/20R from Farnell.
Worth doing. The sound is super lush, likes it's dripping from the ceiling. Lots more musical info too, the chimes on "Crystal Silnce" from Chick Corea's Return to Forever are separate pieces of metal bumping against one another rather a single homogenous "sound." Nice.
I heard a Chinese whisper that LF noise is the big problem with the CS81412 analog supply, so that's decoupled with a tall, skinny 3300uF 16v Rubycon ZL for really severe filtering.
Decoupling on the opamps is now 220uF 25V Panasonic FC with 1uF X7R 1206 wedged perfectly between the leads. THe FC seems like a good workhorse cap, good, cheap and no particular sound.
Be careful with SMD caps, it's easy to heat them to death.
