    Change of turntable ahead…

"The Systemdek and new stylus have been sinning for a week or so now." Devil be out of ya! Send it off to confessional pronto. Or not, sinful music can just be so great! Hah, glad you are enjoying the combination Del! :)

    Dahlquist DQ-10 rebuild

Probably not! Maybe add a little caution then? In this situation and with the drivers in the DQ's, think it would be a fine situation, unless something is wrong with the amp. Just my thoughts...

    Dahlquist DQ-10 rebuild

Overkill? Pahhh. Throw caution to the wind and do it. :)

Linn Isobariks - replacing the mid and bass drivers with Falcon units

Nice! I really like what Malcom/Falcon have done to keep things going on the driver side of things. Hope all goes well as you get things sorted!

[FS] Trenner & Friedl Art speakers and stands

Lordy these are so nice, I always enjoyed the previous model, but these are a bit better yet, and with stands included, somebody should be jumping on these! I want them myself! But....GLWS, those are dandy!

    Naim NAIT 2 Restoration Project

I know my Nait complimented me on a few occasions, it said "Nice choice of tunes, mate!", and played on. :)

    The story of NAD

That was a good video, enjoyed it very much. I always liked the spartan, simplified look, as well as simple controls. Just what you need, not a bunch of silly stuff you don't. Glad they have survived and continue to make interesting, good sounding products.

    What Turntables Do You Own?

CJ Walker, wow, haven't heard that name for quite awhile. I always liked those tables! Yours look really nice!

    What Turntables Do You Own?

I have a first edition Holbo air-bearing linear tracker. I like it a lot, and was initially struck by its overall simplicity and looks for this type of table. That it sounds so good is just icing on the cake. I like that it doesn't look like some off-shore drilling rig too. Fairly easy to set...

    Drawing the Line

Keep us posted on this repair, I am curious as to how it will be handled, and how expensive the repairs might be. Again, hopefully, things won't be too crazy there! Apologies for the slight thread derail here! :)

    Drawing the Line

Hate to hear that, I really like their products. The current and previous model had little Meanwell power supplies in them, that are quite easy to purchase and replace, providing that is the problem to begin with! Hopefully you can get it fixed easily, and reasonably!

    McIntosh

McIntosh here in the states is an interesting company. For me, I have never really “got” their sound, and have not really cared for the look either, which seems to be a very important thing with the brand. I find the sonics a bit boring to my ears, and just not to my overall liking. Certainly...

    Looks great Joe! Enjoy!

    System pics 2024

No worries! Sometimes I wonder if the power supply in these would be easy to adapt to my 120VAC/60Hz mains. If I recall, the supply is a MeanWell solder in brick type. Hmmmm. I really just need to figure out what I should sell on and then go from there! Glad you are still enjoying your...

    System pics 2024

I am in the US, unfortunately. I keep looking at the Musicbooks, if my Naim XS3 and companion ND5XS2 were not so good and working so well in my second system, I would probably already have them. I have considered selling them, but….the Musicbook Combo as a single box, do all, tempts me too...
