Man United IPO: Being hollowed out and readied to collapse?

Paint ! Paint ! Paint! Come on you Paint! Paint was robbed.. Get some scarves made up for watching paint dry - probably not far off being an actual football fan.

Man United IPO: Being hollowed out and readied to collapse?

Well, after starting this thread nearly 2 years ago, now we're seeing the same claims in the papers that the Glazers are to blame for being stuck with the aging team, no money put in for big player spending and in fact $500m taken OUT of the business to pay for it's very take over in the first...

    ACDC split up!

I heard that they had their differences.. One kept changing direction and the other wanted to go straight (is that a really poorly contrived joke about AC and DC?)

    Seriously what is a Bitcoin

That's a lot of incentive to do your best to manipulate the value of Bitcoin! Hence why a personally don't trust it not to be at least a fairly rigged exchange rate. I mean, if the Libor and Forex scandals can happen in a supposedly REGULATED market with potential jail time for fraudsters...

Where on the facebook page is the text that this thread is based on? Do I have to log in to facebook to see it, has it been since removed or is there a link I've not followed?

Ah.... well, I tend to leave some bargains for other people! I bet you pissed off a few onlookeers who were a minute behind.

    Money saving tip.....shop at Waitrose

Hmm... so even being aware of that you still assert that steaming vegetables ruins them? Does that mean you take audio advice too from one random experience? Overcooking anything ruins it; steamed, boiled, roasted, microwaved, grilled whatever. Steamed vegetables with still a crunch...

    Money saving tip.....shop at Waitrose

Definately Waitrose reductions are far less pointless than tight-arsed Sainsbury's or Tesco reductions at the small stores. Seeing as Sainsbury's and Tesco are just going to throw it away anyway, why don't they offer more than a 20p discount on a £1.50 item that's going out of date that day...

    Cheap bookshelf speakers

B&W CM1 (from the Concept 90 series). Nice drivers (a version of the later acclaimed Matrix tweeter) with a Matrix cabinet, albeit of some kid of resin with plastic matrix inside. Saw some on gumtree for £50 a couple of months ago, often about £80 on ebay when they appear (which is rarely)...

    Celef CF2

Only ever seen them on ebay... shielded drivers I think? Not that that is of any concern with flat-screen TVs! I guess means they are safe to put your floppy discs on top....

MYST hybrid power amp, anyone remember these?

Do you have any photos of the hybrid amp whilst it's in for repair?

MYST hybrid power amp, anyone remember these?

Didn't know they were Myst either... I had the opportunity to buy a couple of pairs of their monitor cabinets from the designer but blew it due to not having any transport at the time and suddenly no cash, last year sometime when my car failed it's MOT and needed a few hundred of welding...

    Platter Rings

One thing I would say with these rings that differ from Nottingham analogue rings, is that the latter has indentations for the rings cut into the edge of the platter. This means there's more coupling with nearly half the surface area of the ring in contact. Without that, the contact area of...
