Yea but thats a little complex and involves software. Thanks anyway. I could easily connect a bass shaker to my audio output but I want the more isolated effects that go to the rumble motors in the wheel rim.

Hi all. Not been around here for a while but recently had an idea and wanted to ask you super chaps of PFM... Im really into Sim Racing now and the bodger in me has been resurrected! Most Sim Racing steering wheels have built in rumble motors to simulate the effect of engine revs...

If your bi-amping couldn't you use a good quality stepped attenuator on the inputs of your tweeter and bass/mid amps?

I used Jantzen audio 'crosscaps' on my RTL2's. If you cant find the exact value then parallel different values to get as close as possible to what you need. Made a definite improvement to my ears :)

What was bodged exactly? Dont like the look of the blackened areas at the front edge of the pcb.

Zenner diodes followed by some RC smoothing?
