for many years my system was a Luxman 570Z's and NS 1000X. I'm also in Tokyo and had both serviced by HifiDo in 2015.I replaced the Luxman in 2019 with a McIntosh MC7200 amp only to have a stroke at the end of the year. I've spent 2020 either in hospital or in a care home as I recover. The...
I usually ask Tokyu Hands in Shibuya. They can cut and drill acrylic onsite for quick turnaround. And they do a nice, accurate job from drawings / measurements. Not much help for most on here of course, but they get my custom and recommendation
Lyra Skala Beta on Moerch 4 and 6 ( both of which were on a Notts Analogue Spacedeck that I didn't get along with. Though it could sound really fab when the mood took it. Apheta and Planar 8. A serious jump up from my previous Rega flirtation - which was P25 with DV 17 (what a great match they...

arrrgh the best music from 16 years ago in a thread from (mostly) 2005.
I remember playing an album to Sideshow Bob at the time of pygmy song recorded in the 'deep' forest of DRC. The album features some of the most spectacular thunderstorms I've heard recorded that can be heard rolling in over...
