Congrats , I didn’t expect the upgrade to be to b&w speakers. Do they have a similar sound signature to the Neats ?

I have the Momentum and have tried a number of amps from Rega , naim, etc and the best result I’ve had is from crown Xls. What it lacks in top end sparkle it makes up for in the bass and is very impressive. Very left of field but for the price it’s worth trying.

I heard they are tough to drive like my isobarik Neats so I think it would be a good amp to try. There is something very free and easy sounding about the way it drives my speakers. I didn’t ever really notice the others struggling until I got this amp and I’m a low level listener.

I’ve been checking ita temp regularly but it runs very cool. Still hardly warm to the touch after hours of listening.

I'm using the XLS 1502 which I found on DV247. There are a few models but this one was able to provide more power than I could realistically afford using a class a/b amp. The next models up seemed a bit... excessive... Photos to follow in the next few days

I wish I could x10 like this. Looks fantastic and I bet sounds it too. I love that era of amplifier and have heard some Triangle speakers before. They along with Klipsch forte and some super high end Sunos Fabre take my top 3 spots for mind blown moments.
