I used to use them but on more than a few occasions I found the "new" LP had been played prior to my receiving it. I now use What Records or Amazon or Ebay.

Can't comment on Santa Monica but Ziggy sounded a lot better so I sold the original which always sounded a bit lean to me.

Owned the B2B re-issue of a few years back & just couldn't take to it. Eventually sold it & replaced with a Classic Records 140g which was quite reasonably prced (£20ish) and sounds fantastic.

Good advice, I owned a pair & replaced them with the Espeks. Big mistake! Best pound for pound speaker I ever owned.

I'm a fan of ESCO myself but I don't think spending £350 on a Karma rebuild is cost effective, you can certainly pick up a better deal on a new or used cartridge IMO. Let us know which way you go.

Totally agree. Run active & with the improved bases best speaker £ for£ I ever owned. Absolute bargain S/H if paired with for eg a chakra C6100 amp.
