How do I price my elderly Linn LP12 for sale?

I agree with manicatel, sell the arm and cartridge separately. The deck could also be split up into parts, such as Plinth, Armboard, Sub Chassis, Lid, Hinges, Motor, Top Plate, Power Supply, Platter etc. I sold mine last year and reckon I got a couple of hundred more than if I'd sold it complete.

    The Groundhogs

Hogs on the Road is a well recorded double album from the 1980s which will give you an idea of what a good live band they were. Tony's had health issues since the 1990s and in 2009 had a serious stroke and doesn't seem to be performing anymore.

    John Lee Hooker

One of his best is Hooker and the Hogs which he recorded with The Groundhogs. If you buy Shake it Baby (Charly Masterworks vol 45) you get the whole album with a couple of bonus tracks which are also excellent.

    Joshua Judges Ruth....

Discogs lists the different issues. I've got the MCA / Curb release. You do have to turn the volume up, most of the tracks are deliberately mellow but there are a couple, Church is one, where the band and backing singers up the tempo and volume. Great recording.
