Unicorns fart glitter.
The sight of an LP12 with an Ittok still makes my heart race. That was my aspirational Hifi item when I started working.
Beautiful setup! I'm curious to know what type of plinth the lp12 sits in?
Thanks, john
Vandersteen make very nice speakers. The local hi-fi shop carries them, and I'm always impressed when I drop in for a listen.Only real change in 2015 was with the speakers, my Rega R9s were out on long term loan so I played around with a few speakers (Kord Tornado, Tannoy Stirling HE) but settled on some cheap Vandersteens, very very happy with them.
Many thanks Gary.
Old houses are much rarer here in Sydney so I was delighted to find this one.
I'm originally from Brighton so I miss the UK architecture.

Roon and tidal to a Squeezebox touch in the digital domain , minidsp dirac DDRC 22 room correction to Devialet Spdif .. Munsdorf silver ribbon speaker cables
Fully treated 8m x 6m dedicated room , 2 x SVS sb13 ultra subs to smooth room response .. I use a meridian 568.2 to control all of them. The whole room is fed by a 5kva pure sine wave converter running off 6 x 200ah batteries
The walls of the room are acoustic panels on battens with uthermo behind , the ceiling is more the same , but solid , not slotted and pierced like the walls. The ceilings have "faux rock" diffusion .. fully configurable listening chair.
Changes planned for this year are to change the doors to the room to proper acoustic doors , a new decent touchscreen tablet to control the whole system , 2 more SVS subs and if I can afford it , another Devialet to make it a dual monoblock system.
