It's the never connected one. The fronts on both psus say dino+, which is not helpfull. But definitely the NC one. Not having listened to the regular dino+, I can't say what the difference is. But there is definitely a difference over the regular power supply.
I had both dino and diablo phono...
Hi
First time selling here, so go easy on me. But have bought plenty !
This Trichord psu was bought by me new. It can feed the dino and diablo as they are technically the same phono stages. Just better quality components in the diablo.
It comes with original packaging, cables etc. And the...
I wasn't considering biamping with
a 250 ( if driving a single channel). I'd allow the transformer to supply one channel. My thinking being that I'd start with a 250, then buy another when funds allow. Rather than buy a 300dr or even a pair of NC350s.
I have a couple of 140s albeit my kids use them with a Nac 72.
Rest of my kit is naim except my power amp, that is a MF nuvista 300. 25 years old, modified my JS 4 years ago. Happy with the sound and unlimited grunt. But, if I have to move the hifi around, the MFs might be too large, hence...
If I understand correctly it's the same stuff in the 300 as in the 250, just in 2 boxes. Plus cooling in the box with the electronics, rather than the transformer.
My question refers to both NC and OC 250s.
So is a 135 just a 250 that feeds one speaker?
Same for 350 vs 250 ?
I get that a 250 can power 2 channels , but would stating with a 250, then buying another 250 be a cheaper (?) way of starting ?
350s s/h are £8k, whilst s/h nc 250s £3.5 ish. I'm...
Had my HG for 2 years or so. Cleaned over 1000 records. Softened water from the tap and a dash of rinse aid to act as surfactant. Change water each time. Easy. If the lp is real dirty it gets 3 off 10 minute sessions. Bit overkill but so what.
Thoroughly recommended, especially at the price.
The 300, albeit dr vs 250dr question is on my mind too.
The problem I have us thar I just see a 300 as a 250 in two boxes. But there may be more to it than that.
I did wonder about using 2 off 250drs. One to drive each channel, but not bi wired/amped. So the 250 transformer only has to work...
It was my vac pump that failed dramatically. Grinding noises for a while then I suspect the pump bearings failed and allowed the plastic pump rotor to clash with the pump casing. Resulting in black bits coming out the exhaust.
Looking back, the dirty water I was removing started to get more...
